Organizations View
In the Basic Information view (Organization → Basic Information), you manage the basic information and settings of the Gillie organization. One customer account can have multiple organizations (e.g., units). Admin users see the organizations for which they have permissions.
Organization Basic Information
In the Basic Information section, the following are defined:
- Name — the name of the organization (required).
- Default Language — the default language of the user interface for the organization's users.
- AI Language — the language the AI uses in the texts it generates.
- Country — required information, affects localization among other things.
- Time Zone — the organization's time zone.
Data Deletion
In the Deletion section, retention periods are defined:
- Measurement Data Retention Period (in days) — the number of days after which measurement data is deleted.
- Customer Retention Period After Deactivation (in days) — the number of days after which deactivated customers are completely deleted.
Additional Functions
The three-dot menu in the organization's detailed view includes:
- Logo — management of the organization's logo.
- Cleanup — data cleanup function (visible only if the user has the necessary permissions).
- Audit trail — organization's change history (permission admin_areas_audit required).
Access Rights
Managing organizations requires the admin_areas permission. Viewing the audit trail requires the admin_areas_audit permission.
Note. The organization's country and time zone affect both the times displayed to users and the logging. Confirm these settings before activating the organization.
Warning. Changing the retention periods for measurement data and customers may lead to permanent deletion of data from the system. Verify the deletion rules carefully.
