Costs
In the Costs view (Analytics → Costs), unit costs specific to alert types are defined, which are used in benefit calculations. This allows the benefits obtained from the system to also be expressed in monetary terms.
Basic Cost Information
The cost detail view displays:
- Type — the type of cost (currently Alert Type).
- Subtype — the specific alert type (e.g., a certain trigger) for which the cost is defined.
- Value — the unit cost (required).
- Comment — a free description of the basis for the cost.
Additional Actions
The three-dot menu in the detail view includes:
- Delete — removes the cost entry.
- Audit trail — the change history of the cost.
What Do Costs Affect?
The defined unit costs are used in reporting and analytics to calculate how much benefit the system has generated by detecting, for example, emergency visits or risks.
Tip. Keep costs up to date — outdated figures can provide a misleading view of operational effectiveness.
