What is Gillie?
Gillie is an AI-assisted service for social and healthcare professionals. It combines client information from various sources into a single view and produces structured summaries for the professional. The goal is to detect changes in the client’s condition early, ensure care is properly targeted, and allow work time to be used where it is most beneficial.
In practice, Gillie:
- automatically collects data from home care visits and records, measuring devices, medication dispensers, emergency phones, door and bed sensors, and patient information systems
- continuously analyzes data using AI and generates Alerts when something requires attention. For example, AI may produce an alert about increased pain or risk of dehydration in a client.
- displays the client’s overall situation at a glance across different tabs (basic information, measurements, diagnoses, medications, visits, client plan)
- supports daily work by compiling client data into an easily readable summary.

Daily Monitoring
- View clients’ status at a glance in the Client View.
- Read and acknowledge observations produced by Gillie in the Alerts view.
- Filter client lists based on measurement groups and labels.
Assessing the Client’s Condition
- Browse a timeline showing events and measurements over a selected period.
- Pre-fill assessments and plans related to the client using AI.
Managing Devices and Services
- Monitor events from automatic medication dispensers, emergency phones, and door and bed sensors.
- Track conflicts between services and devices.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of devices in use, their locations, and status.
Where does Gillie get its data?
Gillie does not replace the patient information system and/or client information system but operates alongside them. Data comes into Gillie through integrations. Typical sources include:
- client data in the patient information system, operations management system, and/or client information system. The data typically includes lab results, diagnoses, medications, and records
- emergency phone service alerts
- medication dispensing data, deviations, and errors from automatic medication dispensers
- data sent by door and bed sensors
- other possible devices that send blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, and other measurement data

What Gillie does not do?
- Gillie does not replace the professional’s clinical assessment. AI evaluations support decision-making but are not treatment orders.
- Gillie does not send alerts to the client – alerts are intended for various professional groups and, in some cases, also for relatives.
