Using the Audit View

The audit view displays log information about events that have occurred in the system. It is important for security, legal protection, and quality assurance.

Opening

  1. Open the change log by pressing the menu button in the top right corner. Log information is visible on all screens where the user can make changes to data.
  2. If the change log is not visible, it means that changes that generate log entries cannot be made on that screen or you do not have the required permissions to view the logs.

What appears on a log entry

  • Timestamp.
  • User.
  • Action / event.

Use Cases

  • Verification: how and when data has been changed.
  • Investigation of security incidents.
  • Ensuring customer rights (who has processed their data).
  • Quality control.
